APSTS, or Arunachal Pradesh State Transport Services, was established on 5th December 1975 with just 2 buses. Now, the fleet includes 280 buses, 44 Sumos, and 30 Xylos covering 119 routes and serving far-flung and remote areas. APSTS operates 15 full-fledged stations and 7 sub-stations across the districts. Besides Arunachal Pradesh, APSTS also runs inter-state services to Meghalaya, Assam, and Nagaland, with buses equipped with modern amenities for a comfortable journey.
