By Bus

UPSRTC and private operators operate regular buses connecting Ayodhya Dham to cities such as Lucknow, Varanasi, Prayagraj, and Delhi. Most buses arrive at the Ayodhya Dham Bus Station, which is the city’s main bus stand. From the bus stand, you can take an auto-rickshaw, e-rickshaw, or taxi to reach the Ram Mandir in about 10-15 minutes.

By Train

You can also take a train to the Ayodhya Dham Junction railway station. It is well connected to major cities across India by regular passenger, express, and superfast trains. 

Once you reach the station, you can take an auto, e-rickshaw, or taxi to reach the Ram Mandir. The temple is about 3.5 kilometers from the station, and the journey will take about 10 minutes. 

By Air

You can also take a flight to the Maharishi Valmiki International Airport, Ayodhya Dham. It is located about 10 kilometers away from the Ayodhya Ram Janmabhoomi Temple and currently offers limited flights from cities like Delhi, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru.

Since direct flights are limited, you can also take a flight to the Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow instead (140 kilometers away). From there, you can take a taxi or bus to reach Ayodhya Dham.

Ayodhya Ram Janmabhoomi

The Ayodhya Ram Janbhoomi Temple is believed to stand on the place where Lord Ram was born. It is considered to be one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites for Hindus. The temple is built in the Nagara architectural style using pink sandstone from Rajasthan.
